So we have been working really hard on getting our national network radio advertisements launched, and today the ad campaign finally started  nationwide.  My boss had planned for us (just two of us) to have lunch to celebrate the launch, and I had accepted it without thinking too much about it.  It turns out that my entire team (marketing department) had planned a surprise lunch to wish me congratulations for my upcoming wedding instead!  When we went to the restaurant, everyone was already there, with flowers, a cake, cards, and a giftcard from Pottery Barn which everyone contributed. 

I was very surprised and touched, especially considering how wedding sometimes seemed non-important to me with work being so crazy.  It is so sweet that people who work with me are excited and happy for my big day.  My boss had even gone to the bakery who are doing my wedding cake, and ordered a small version of my wedding cake for today's luncheon.  Because Mike was in charge of the wedding cake, I never got to taste or see what our wedding cake is going to be like, so it was especially nice touch.

So, of course my diet today kind of got busted.  Big sushi lunch along wiht a piece of cake as dessert!  But I guess it was worth cheating today...
